A four channel process piece documenting the step-by-step treatment of one loop of clear 16mm film leader.  The process begins with hand- sewing into the film with needle and thread and then overpainting the thread paths with India ink.  Next, the thread is excised, leaving behind stenciled silhouettes of lines and points.  Finally, by applying acetone to the film the paint is redacted returning the loop to its original state bearing only artifacts of the previous treatment.
